As we all know JSM is 2 days away and i know some of us have not done a PC optimization since last year or even further ago!
Here are ten things you can do for your PC to make your gaming experience better!
1.) Clear up unused files on the HDD
2.) Defragment your HDD
3.) Open up your computer and remove all built up dust from fans, heat syncs, and just about anywhere where dust collects.
4.) Laptop users: make sure to have plenty of airflow for your laptop. My best suggestion is to prop your laptop on two wood blocks, or buy a cooling board from a store. (Wood blocks are cheaper and just as effective if not more!)
5.) Clean your mouse! Hair and dust gather easily in almost every type of mouse, to the point where it noticeably effects performance.
6.) Make sure to have any popular multiplayer games you enjoy playing installed chances are those games will be played!
7.) Make shure you have the latest patch for all your games!
8.) Have a comfortable pair of headphones on hand, the LAN will be noisy enough as is.
9.) Update / Install virus and spyware protection, let's face it viruses suck, especially at LANs.
10.) Learn the best way to take down and set up your PC, this will allow you to get your computer up and running quicker while at the LAN.
If you have any other tips for people attending a LAN post them here!
